The Photo Sails Charter Barter Program creates mutually beneficial relationships between charter boat owners and sponsors. Hundreds of charter boats exist in the United States and around the world. These vessels sail up to three times daily maximizing exposure, yet are businesses with many expenses. One major expense of a sailboat is the actual sails. By donating a free set of Photo Sails with sponsor-branded products imaged on them and securing a minimal monthly incentive payment, this symbiotic relationship will keep sponsored Photo Sails visible to the local population and the vessel owners expenses under control, creating an unforgettable branding vehicle in that location. The 50-foot, 49-passenger USCG inspected vessels particularly work well for this concept. These large catamarans are able to attend waterside events, concerts, air shows, and other festivals as branding vehicles. These sailing billboards create mobile platforms for public gatherings and sampling of products. Other public relations programs are easy to implement and expand upon such as radio trade giveaways and sweepstakes for free sailing rides. These contracts are limited in availability as each city has only a few vessels per market. Availability is on a first come first serve basis.
